Better to have fashion criminals than everyone wearing the same boring-ass thing, trying their best to be invisible so that they never get shamed for looking different. Between courage and shame, I’ll take courage every time. Frustrated, shamed people are the ones that turn toxic and violent, trying to embitter and wound everyone around them just as much as they feel bitter and wounded.
