Artist Paints Famous Characters Into Discarded Paintings

Dave Pollot is a New York based artist who is best known for his altered thrift store paintings. He finds abandoned artworks and adds his own touch (most often pop culture parodies). Dave says the biggest challenge is not only taking some piece of pop culture and putting it into a place where it might not belong, but also making it blend in so that it actually seems that it belongs.
