Twitter power user and “world’s wealthiest man”, through a letter sent Friday from his lawyers to the social network, officially claimed that he was nixing the pact reached in April because Twitter “appears to have made false and misleading representations,” including “dramatically understating the proportion of spam and false accounts.” Why he failed to conduct due diligence on this issue prior to clinching an acquisition agreement is unclear. Naturally, Twitter users had a field day with this latest development, happily posting memes, jokes and barbed critiques about Musk’s failure to deliver on his promise.
Funny how only one comment mentioned here even bothers to address the fact that Twitter is a sewer full of fake bots, whose sole purpose is to sway public opinion. And that Elon’s backing out of the deal because the company’s nothing but smoke & mirrors and wouldn’t dare disclose its anti-conservative algorithms lest it be shown once and for all to be the one-sided merde-fest we all know it is.
