I never realized that relentless cynicism could be this funny. Jon’s dark disdain for humanity has a halo above it, thanks to the truth he finds hiding under our stupidity. We easily recognize this social commentary all around us, and it’s familiararity is what makes us laugh.
There’s a typo in the “face blindness” one; “have we meet before” should be “have we met before.”
