There’s a new trend in Germany. Graffiti artists in Berlin are coming together to turn swastikas into much less sinister drawings. They’ve started #paintback – a campaign to turn hateful symbols and slogans on the streets into something fun and artistic.
Why they bleep out the swastikas?

Actually the swastica used to be a symbol of peace
this symbol was used on many ancient sites across the world, in India it carried a meaning of divinity and spirituality and depending on the direction of the arms had bias to light or dark. Shame that a symbol of rich history is now associated to pure evil scum. I love the windows 95 conversion. All these conversions are proof that Love and peace will always overcome the warped mind set of a small group of privileged and selfish cowards lurking in the shadows.
