Cemetery Selfies: Weird Instagram Trend

Some people will do anything for attention. We’ve previously featured Instagram users visiting Chernobyl, Holocaust memorial in Berlin and swimming in a toxic lake. It turns out that taking selfies at cemeteries just for fun is one of Instagram users’ weird trends. What’s your take on this? Is this appropriate or not? Leave your opinion in comments!

  1. Well, that first one is pretty gross. What a nasty pig. Otherwise, I don’t care about people taking selfies in cemeteries. As long as they pose no disrespectful poses like the first one or sit or stand on a stone.
It’s strange, the impulse of a lot of women to take a close-up with a fish-eye lens and look misshapen, not to mention showing half their fat bags. No, not jealous. Mine are still up there.

  2. I think that if the cemetery residents don’t care, neither should we. Let’s also keep in mind that these people didn’t come into our home and force us to look at their selfies… we are looking at a website that we know will show us such stuff. So let’s encourage such behaviour. ;-)

  3. Disrespectful asshats. Imagine going to honor a deceased loved one and coming across these preening dolts.

(That said, that first chick is hot.)
