Just In Time For Coronavirus Outbreak: Unusual Protection Masks

Beyond the illness, the hospital may be a traumatic experience. To help patients play down these difficult situations, designers Jyo John Mulloor and Irina Blok has created a series of funny surgical masks that turn doctors, surgeons, and patients into offbeat characters and animals.

  1. Masks don’t keep things out in. They keep thing in. WHY CANT YOUR SMALL MINDS COMPREHEND THIS?!

  2. Pfizer gave a million bucks to Trump’s inauguration.

    Think about that.

    Research what Pfizer does, everyone:
    THEY MAKE VACCINES.

By refusing the WHO test kits — which DO work — he’s putting HIS VERY OWN VOTERS in harm’s way.

    Think about that.

  3. “Masks don’t keep things out in. They keep thing in. WHY CANT YOUR SMALL MINDS COMPREHEND THIS?!” I wish my small mind was able to work out WTF this was supposed to mean, however one thing IS clear – ‘Not a docter’ (sic) doesn’t have a sense of humour. Anyway, I’d just like to say that I’m disappointed that there’s no mask available to make me look as though I’m wearing a ‘Facehugger’ from the Alien movies.

  4. These are supposed to make the hospital less traumatic? I’m sure some would make small children cry and cause suicidal folks coming to the ER turn around and leave!

  5. Masks don’t keep air out. They keep sneezes and coughs in so you don’t get other people sick. Not the other way around. But people don’t understand this and go and buy 300 masks to make sure they don’t get sick when the people sick should wear them. You understand now?

  6. The masks do both – they filter both ways.

Why do you think people wear these things when there are high particulates in the air? So their ‘clean’ exhales don’t clean the air?

  7. Dear Not A Doctor…so you know more about infection control than doctors, nurses and infection control specialists? We wear the masks going into isolation rooms, and the infectious patient wears if going from their room to another area of the facility. They do work both ways. It would be great i all the sick would wear but since many wont (even if they know and many dont) the at risk and those with at risk loved ones need to wear to protect their own health and that of their loved ones.
