When the internet heard that the most beloved shark plushie of all time, IKEA’s BLÅHAJ, will be discontinued in April 2022, they were truly heartbroken, and decided to show the world all the amazing adventures they had together. Maybe IKEA will reconsider…

That shark has a great many lives. Loving the one in bed with a book, nodding off by the looks of it. There are some very imaginative people out there. Shame it’s being discontinued.

I FINALLY got my hands on one of these chonkers!!! 10/10 recommend! As a photographer I LOVE taking this little boi out and taking some cute human-like photos with him! I feel so bad for the people who have had their local ikea discontinue BLÅHAJ.

I have one Blåhaj and i named it Shiver (after the Splatoon 3 characer). I actually got it on the same day when I broke my right wrist, so it came with me to the ER. Didn’t help the pain but I was allowed to take it to the x-ray scan with me too :)
Mine is called Jommy (don’t ask why) and we have had many adventures throughout the years.
