Lawyers in Russia were actually threatening to sue the Harry Potter films franchise because the Dobby character so closely resembled Vlad Putin. That’s not a joke, but it is quite hilarious.

In related news, a Turkish man received a 5 year suspended sentence for posting side-by-side images that showed the uncanny resemblance of President Erdogan and Gollum.
