Nicholas Gurewitch is the creator behind The Perry Bible Fellowship webcomic. It first appeared in the Syracuse University newspaper The Daily Orange in 2001. The comics are usually three or four panels long, and are generally characterized by the juxtaposition of whimsical childlike imagery or fantasy with morbid, sudden or unexpected surreal humor. Common subjects include ironical occurrences, religion, sex, war, science fiction, suicide, violence, and death. best in a long time.
The dragon one broke my heart.
Happy Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere. The dark edge to most of these comics I found rather appealing.
This is fun. Not like the previous comics.
Didn’t want to laugh at these but they were too good.
Nice and morbid.
Pretty dark. I like these. First time I’ve laughed on this site in a while
Seen em Saw em yawn
WOAH! Dark? BLACK (as the pits of hell). Horrible tragedy can be pretty funny, if the drawings are good enough and on the nose, as they are here. May Aranaktu never loose his appetite – there’s too many of us anyway, so it’s OK.
