Ah, subway… The magical place where the laws of normality stop working. The moment you go underground to catch a train, you’d best be prepared to see hilarious, weird and, frankly, mind-blowing things.

I like laughing at all the weirdos. Weirdos, I’m laughing at you. Because you are weird. Weirdos.

It sorta seems like the most normally-dressed and groomed people are the ones who act like the biggest a-holes to other riders.

If I had legs like the Bryant Park lads I’d never wear pants again.

I think a lot of these are staged shots. The men without pants is that pants-less day in NYC when everyone goes to work without pants. I have seen it on the news.

I was on the subway and I saw the strangest thing! I saw my grandmother whom I thought had died years ago but there she was twerking right in the bus drivers face. I called out to her with misty eyes. I heard her gas flowing out of her booty. The delicious pheromones call to me. But that may have just been that lady chopping onions.I reunited with her sweet embrace but then I realized she was wearing a mask! So I aggressively yanked off her beautiful face and then I saw the purple fur of grimace my worst enemy. Then all I could see was the sweet embrace of death.

As a New Yorker, I can say that this is so true, tho the side eyes are real.

I was on the subway and I saw the most normal thing! I saw my granddaughter whom I thought had been born years ago but there she was twerking right behind the bus drivers back. I called out to her with dry, itchy eyes. I heard wind flowing into her booty. My delicious pheromones being sapped from me. There’s no way it was that lady chopping onions. I pried from her sweet embrace but then I realized she wasn’t wearing a mask! So I aggressively masked her hideous rear and then I saw the black and white stripes of the Hamburglar my greatest ally. Then all I could see was the sweet embrace of love.

It’s so sad that most of the country represses what is weird about themselves. People aren’t born “normal.” They have all of their “out there” individuality knocked out of them from systematic shaming from family, teachers, neighbors, etc. God bless the folks who give themselves – and ourselves by extension – permission to be freaky. Cause it would be a boring ass world if the shamers won.

1. Why can’t a knight take a quiet nap in the tube after a hard day’s work.
2. The last one is the only that truly perturbs me.

It is gratifying to see that the comments section has the same DNA as the post. Cool!
As a New York native, I found these slighty boring
