Street Art: Brilliant Acts of Vandalism by French Artist CAL

CAL is a French artist that proves street art is not just ugly tags. The artist hides little pieces of art in all sorts of nooks and crannies, and the way he uses his surroundings is absolutely brilliant. CAL mostly creates art in the streets and parks of his hometown, Lyon. The artist loves going back to check his works to see if they are still there. The artworks stay up from 5 minutes to several years depending on both the techniques and the discretion of the drawing. Scroll down to check out some of the best examples!

  1. Just out of curiousity, what is that thing in the 2nd photo (the one painted like a birdcage)?
And why is there a big cement ball on the corner (the sleeping lady)?
