Tom and Jerry has to be one of the most iconic cartoons ever created. You probably remember watching it on TV during Saturday mornings back when you were a kid. The two always seemed to get into all sorts of funny situations, typically resulting in Tom getting hurt in some ridiculous way. Inspired by the antics of Tom and Jerry, Japanese artist Taku Inoue has created sculptures capturing the most iconic moments from the cartoon. Check them out in the gallery below!
These really tickle my whiskers.
Not even a T & J fan, but these are pretty damned awesome.
Fond memories of watching original cartoons in early 1970’s. Still recall sound of Tom’s twanging whiskers! Sculptures are great!
where can I buy some of these?
Extremely awesome!
Back when cartoons were good unlike today
Cartoons come to life! I love it. The coloring, the shading, and the facial expressions are spot on great job. This brings back fond childhood memories.
What is the name of the episode with Jerry wrapped up like a little worm? Is he in a piece of that tube or was it a blanket that he’s using to sneak away? I just bought a plushie of this and can’t remember!
